How to prepare a motorhome for storage
A simple checklist to protect the vehicle before leaving it unused for a medium or long period.
Before arrival
Clean the vehicle, remove food and valuables, check windows, locks, tyre pressure and fluid levels.
During a long stop
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the battery and systems, and agree any required access or periodic checks with the operator.
At collection
Inspect the exterior, reconnect systems if necessary and carry out the usual safety checks before setting off.
